One last election post

At least for four years anyway, hopefully, maybe. It was Stephen Fry's blog which started me off so now he's posted again on the current situation I'll link to it again.

Still I've no idea what the way forward is from here but hopefully someone does.

  1. Stephen Fry is absolutely right, proportional representation of some kind is much fairer, but we won't get it, for the reasons he says, and also because it would mean we now had 30 MPs representing the BNP.
    Wouldn't necessarily mean electoral suicide for the Conservatives, though - as long as we had an English parliament, the way Scotland and Wales do. (Look how blue the map of England is!)
    As for it being over for another four years, no chance, IMHO. Another election in the sutumn is my prediction.
